TALLMAN HOTEL: Located on Main Street in Upper Lake and next door to the re-created Blue Wing Saloon, this two-story 1890s Victorian hotel has been completely restored to its original beauty and charm. A rustic chic aesthetic is created with antiques, custom handcrafted furniture, hand-painted murals, and art depicting local flora and fauna. Each of the 17 guest rooms are designed with Eastlake-style furniture and antique plumbing fixtures. Garden suites feature either private balconies or garden patios with Japanese soaking tubs. Room amenities include voicemail, hairdryers, Internet access, air conditioning, TV with cable/satellite, DVD/CD player, free local calls, refrigerator, coffeemaker, honor bar, iron/ironing board. Also located on the premises is a geothermal-heated outdoor pool with spa. A continental meal plan is offered that includes cold breakfast items and hot and cold drinks. Handicap accessible. COWBOY HIDEAWAY:Located on 750 acres of native chaparral, gnarly oaks and abundant wildlife with stunning views of Clear Lake. The luxurious large log home sleeps fourteen with inviting sitting areas, enormous fireplaces and beautiful sunrises and sunset from the outdoor decks. Available for weddings, corporate retreat or family vacations, the ranch offers all of the indulgences of comfort and the exploits and activities that the surrounding area has to offer.
Price range: Winter (November to May) $1350 to $1650 per night, Summer and holidays (June to October) $1800 per night. Three day minimum. Reservations required. Also offered is a week long guided Wine Country Trail Ride. Package includes 6 nights lodge accommodations, five days guided trail riding, most meals, 2 half days winery tours, horse, tack and tax. $2495 per person shared. $535 single supplement.
