LAKE COUNTY REPERTORY THEATER
Established in 1981, Lake County Repertory Theater successfully produced its first musical play--Li'l Abner--and went on to entertain Lake County audiences with ambitious productions of well-known plays. Among them were Arsenic and Old Lace and Harvey, as well as challenging musicals--including The Sound of Music and Fiddler On the Roof. Between 1987 and 1994, the group went dark due to the lack of a performance space.

In 1994, when the Lower Lake Schoolhouse Museum auditorium was dedicated and ready for a resident theater company, some of the original members regrouped and began anew with its mission to "Bring quality community theatre to the people of Lake County."

Since then, we have won acclaim for our productions of works such as On Golden Pond, Steel Magnolias, The Mousetrap, Blithe Spirit, Driving Miss Daisy, The Exonerated, To Kill a Mockingbird and Bus Stop.

Lake County Repertory Theater is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community theater and an auxiliary of the Lake County Arts Council. Charitable contributions to Lake County Rep are tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law.
