Blue Wing Blues Festival Returns to Upper Lake for Its 19th Year
October 1, 2026
This fall, one of Lake County’s favorite music traditions returns to the historic town of Upper Lake. The 19th Annual Blue Wing Blues Festival offers an unforgettable weekend of live music, great food, and small-town hospitality.

Held in the garden courtyard between the historic Tallman Hotel and the Blue Wing Restaurant & Saloon, the festival is known for its intimate atmosphere and exceptional performances. Guests enjoy world-class blues beneath towering sycamore trees in a relaxed outdoor setting.

Now in its 19th year, the festival features acclaimed headliner Rick Estrin and The Nightcats, along with other celebrated blues artists. The two-night event showcases two bands each evening, delivering outstanding music under the stars.

Festival tickets include a barbecue dinner prepared by the Blue Wing Restaurant, with regional wines, craft beverages, and exceptional cuisine available throughout the evening.
Beyond the music, Upper Lake offers visitors the chance to explore local wineries, browse historic downtown shops, enjoy outdoor recreation on Clear Lake, or simply relax and take in the beauty of Lake County. The beautifully restored Tallman Hotel and Blue Wing Restaurant provide a charming backdrop for one of the county’s signature annual events.

Because attendance is limited, tickets often sell out in advance. The combination of exceptional blues, great food, fine wines, and a picturesque venue keep guests returning year after year.
Whether you’re a devoted blues fan or looking for a memorable fall getaway, the Blue Wing Blues Festival is a perfect reason to discover the charm and culture of Lake County.
Visit the Blue Wing website for tickets and event details. While there, explore the calendar of performances throughout October and beyond. If you miss the festival on October 10 and 11, you’ll still find plenty of opportunities to enjoy blues, jazz, and classic rock at the Blue Wing throughout the year.
