Hit The Water!

Nothing ushers in the start of summer like a day on the water. With temps already in the 80’s, Clear Lake is a sunny refuge for Bay Area and North Coast residents fleeing the summer fog, and Central Valley folks in search of lake recreation. Stand up paddle board, rent a boat, or reel in a big one on the large freshwater lake, which is roughly 100 miles from coastal Mendocino, San Francisco and Sacramento, respectively.

BBQ With the Pros

BBQ

Maximize your vacation time by preordering a Memorial Day feast from local Lake County catering company Dancing Poly. Bring expertly smoked beef brisket, pork ribs and country sides to your picnic or barbecue and free yourself up to spend quality time with family and friends.

Celebrate America Strong

Memorial Day Parade

Throw on your red, white and blue, and join the local community in honoring our men and women in uniform at the annual Lakeport Memorial Day parade. The festivities begin at 11 am on Saturday, May 25 at the fairgrounds. The procession works its way through town via Main Street and Clearlake Avenue, culminating at Courthouse Square.

Make a Toast!

Thanks to our rich volcanic soils and valleys protected from coastal fog, Lake County wines are earning fans worldwide. In contrast to our stuffier neighbors to the south, we pride ourselves on a laid back wine country experience where many vineyards welcome children and pets. Bring the whole family to Six Sigma Ranch & Winery on Saturday the 25th to cuddle up with the resident pot bellied pig, play a game of cornhole, enjoy a free slice of wood-fired pizza, and of course, sip some beautiful wines.

Catch a Live Show

Make live music the soundtrack to an unforgettable Memorial Day Weekend at Blue Wing SaloonO’Meara Bros. Brewing Company, Soper Reese Theatre, or The Lounge at Robinson Rancheria Resort and Casino.
