Two bands play in the cool of each evening, with headliners among the top blues bands in the nation. During the first set, beginning around 6:15 PM, ticket holders are served a delicious barbeque dinner, with the headline performance beginning around 7:30 PM. Bands play on the raised veranda of the hotel. Many local companies and individuals help to sponsor the event.

On the last night of the Festival(Labor Day), Schermer & Santana open for Big Mo and the Full Moon Band
