Thrilling Thursdays

Venue

Lower Lake Schoolhouse Museum 16435 Main St Lower Lake, CA 95457

Look, learn, and create together during fun interactive programs for kids of all ages and their parents/caregivers. The Museums of Lake County will be hosting free family-friendly activities this summer during June, July, and August at the Lower Lake Schoolhouse Museum. These programs sponsored by the Lower Lake Preservation Committee-whose support helps pay for bus transportation for students and additional programming at this museum location. One of the first sources of commercial borax was our very own Borax Lake. Learn about this mineral with two hands-on science projects as we make borax slime and a bouncy ball. This activity is aimed for older children and adults, however younger kids will need a parent's or adult’s assistance.
