Lake County Quilt Trail: Square in a Square

In the spring of 2010 Square in a Square became the very first quilt block created for the Lake County Quilt Trail – also making it the first in all of California. It’s located at Hill Creek Ranch, on Merritt Road, near Hwy 29 in Kelseyville.

The Ranch grows organic Sauvignon Blanc wine grapes and olives pressed for the oil. A herd of rusty animal sculptures creates a unique scene viewed from the highway.
