What an incredible weekend for the 29th annual Kelseyville Pear Festival! It was a record turnout for this year’s event celebrating our Lake County pear harvest, starting with the Pear Parade on Saturday morning to launch the festivities. Kelseyville Pear Festival is finally here! Festivities kick off tonight on Main Street, Kelseyville with the SOLD OUT Farm-To-Fork Dinner. Then tomorrow, Saturday 9/30, the fun begins at 9:00AM with the Pear Parade followed by a full day of pear-fect delicious food, music, artisans, exhibits, kid’s activities and MORE (think pie-eating contest)! Pear Festival Week is finally here! Falling on the last Saturday in September, the annual Kelseyville Pear Festival is a celebration of one of Lake County’s most well known crops. Kicking off the fun is the sold out Farm-to-Fork Pear Fest Dinner on Friday night on Main Street in Kelseyville, followed by the Pear Parade on Saturday morning (9am), and the street festival featuring food vendors, artisans, live music, and all things pear—ice cream, cocktails, desserts, savory items, and of course the pie eating contest!
