A rustic combination of charm, boutique hotel amenities, and bed and breakfast hospitality, the Tallman Hotel is dedicated to providing our guests with concierge-level services.

After nearly 40 years of neglect, Upper Lake, California’s historic Tallman Hotel re-opened its doors to guests in 2006. Decorated in the “East Lake” style, our fully restored, historic boutique hotel features 17 unique rooms, a sun washed sitting parlor, and an elegant, period furnished dining room with hand painted walls.

The Tallman Hotel’s beautifully appointed accommodations feature a variety of room styles including three Bungalow Suites, an ADA accessible Farmhouse Suite, and four Lower Garden Rooms equipped with traditional Japanese Ofuro soaking tubs on private patios. Our entire hotel property is a smoke free environment.
